YET ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF THE RSPCA "TAKING OUT" THE COMPETITION !

Neighbours of Elsie Nash, 79, who has been convicted on 13 counts of animal cruelty, have voiced their support of Elsie, claiming that she only had the cat’s best interests at heart.

During its private prosecution of Elsie Nash, 79, the RSPCA’s legal team showed the court a video of Elsie’s house, taken during in the raid by the RSPCA’s “Special Operations Unit”.

The video, taken by Herchran Boal– one of the inspectors on the raid – showed litter trays which Elsiehad not emptied, as well as dirty walls and floors.

There was also said to be “an overpowering smell”.

Those who are aware of the way the RSPCA works will recognise theformula used by the RSPCA’s “Special Operations Units” to support claims that animals were suffering as a result of their surroundings. The RSPCA had already refused to help many of them.”

A few months back we rocked up to the RSPCA rescue centre and adopted not 1 but 2 cats, Lucy and Maya.

The adoption fee is £60 each, which includes, vacinations and most importantly, neutering, this involves, according to the leaflet the removal of the reproductive organs.

Anyway, 7am this morning, my daughter Taer runs upstairs to our bedroom freaking out saying theres something wrong with Lucy.

Fearing the worst, like she might be dead or something. Leeann goes down to her room and a few seconds later screams for me.

Shit I thought, Lucy died on Taers bed and shes gonna be traumatised for life! Running down to her room, I am faced with a sight that I will never forget.

Lucy, overnight, in Taers bed while she was sleeping gave birth to 3 kittens.

How the hell does a neutered cat have babies?

Anyway, her duvet is covered in blood and fluid from the birth but snuggled in amonst the toys are 2 of the most beautiful kittens I have ever seen an a extremely contented but tired mother.

The RSPCA's Burton animal home, in Hillfield Lane, Stretton, is struggling to cope after being inundated with the animals during the summer, according to branch and welfare secretary Margaret Jenkinson.


She said: "It's always pretty bad during the summer due to the kitten season but this year we've had a lot of adult cats as well - many of which have been pregnant."The cats come to us as strays but they are all friendly and handleable, so they must belong to someone."We are licensed to hold 30 cats but at times we've had up to 65 - we've had to put them in cages, in the shower room and every possible place we can think of, but it gets to a point where you run out of options."It's been very worrying for us because we have exhausted every angle of housing these cats.
